Reserve deputy sheriff's officers may now be compensated in a manner determined by the board of county commissioners, adding a new provision to Montana's county officer salary statute (Section 7-4-2503, MCA).

Previously, the statute did not explicitly authorize compensation for reserve deputies; the amendment adds subsection (2)(i) to permit such payments.
