Extends the deadline for unlicensed speech-language pathology assistants and audiology assistants to qualify for licensure based on prior work experience from January 1, 2024 to July 15, 2025

Allows individuals who worked as unlicensed assistants before the new deadline to provide evidence of equivalent experience in lieu of completing formal academic requirements

Requires the board to establish rules defining acceptable evidence and conditions for meeting equivalency standards

Makes licensure for qualifying speech-language pathology assistants retroactive to the date equivalency requirements were satisfied

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval
