Requires 1,250 feet minimum setback from property lines of landowners who have signed wind energy agreements with the turbine owner

Requires 3,000 feet minimum setback from public roads and highways

Requires 7,920 feet (1.5 miles) minimum setback from property lines of landowners who have not signed wind energy agreements with the turbine owner

Applies to wind turbines built after the act's effective date and would be codified under Title 75, chapter 26 (energy-related statutes)
