Amends Section 13-1-112, MCA to clarify that individuals cannot gain residency in a county or the state of Montana if they relocate for temporary purposes such as temporary work, training, or educational programs without intending to make Montana their permanent home

Explicitly requires that the individual must not intend to make the county or state their permanent home "at the conclusion of the temporary work, training, or educational program" to be denied residency

Changes terminology from "comes in" to "relocates" when describing temporary movement into the state

Expands the residency restriction from applying only to county-level residency to include state-level residency as well

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
