Interactive teller machines (ITMs) are excluded from the definition of "branch bank" under Montana banking law, meaning banks can deploy ITMs without triggering branch licensing and regulatory requirements

ITMs are defined as automated, unstaffed banking facilities that allow existing customers to initiate video sessions with remote bank personnel and perform core banking transactions independently without staff involvement

Customers must have sole discretion to initiate or terminate interactive sessions with bank personnel at ITMs

ITMs are added to the list of "satellite terminals" alongside automated teller machines and point-of-sale terminals under Montana's electronic funds transfer laws

Amends Sections 32-1-109 and 32-6-103 of the Montana Code Annotated (MCA)
