Landlords can deliver required notices to tenants by e-mail, phone, or text, with a copy left in a conspicuous location in the rental unit

Tenants who vacate without notifying the landlord forfeit the right to receive cleaning notices and allow landlords to deduct cleaning charges directly from the deposit

Landlords must provide a written list of damages and cleaning charges within 30 days of tenancy termination, or return the full deposit within 10 days if no deductions apply

The act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval
