Adds "physician assistant" to the definition of "health care provider" in Montana's medical malpractice statute (Section 25-9-411, MCA)

Extends the $250,000 cap on noneconomic damages in medical malpractice cases to apply to claims against physician assistants

Health care providers covered by the cap now include: physicians, physician assistants, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, chiropractors, physical therapists, nurses, and licensed health care facilities

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
