Creates a new criminal offense for knowingly receiving, possessing, concealing, storing, bartering, selling, or disposing of a stolen firearm

Establishes a penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment in state prison for conviction of possessing a stolen firearm

Adds possession of a stolen firearm to the list of offenses that constitute a "pattern of criminal street gang activity" under Montana law

Removes stolen ammunition from the offense, limiting the crime to stolen firearms only (ammunition provisions were struck from the original bill language)
