Removes roominghouses and boardinghouses from the definition of "establishment" under Montana's hotel and motel public health and safety requirements in Title 50, Chapter 51, MCA

Eliminates the statutory definition of "roominghouse" or "boardinghouse" (previously defined as buildings with separate sleeping rooms rented to 3+ persons on weekly, semimonthly, monthly, or permanent basis without separate cooking facilities)

Removes roominghouses and boardinghouses from the list of facilities exempt from retail food establishment licensing when serving food only to registered guests and day visitors

Strikes Department of Public Health and Human Services authority to adopt rules governing roominghouses and boardinghouses related to construction, sanitary facilities, water supply, sewage disposal, fire safety, and food service

Removes prohibition on roominghouses and boardinghouses providing professional nursing or personal-care services, leaving only hotels, motels, and similar accommodations subject to that restriction
