Allows domestication (changing jurisdiction of formation) for LLCs, professional LLCs, limited liability partnerships, professional limited liability partnerships, benefit corporations, and nonprofit corporations between Montana and other jurisdictions

Requires a formal plan of domestication that includes the entity names, jurisdictions, manner of converting ownership interests, and proposed organizational documents for the new entity

Establishes approval requirements: domestication must be approved according to the entity's organic rules, or if no provisions exist, by all interest holders entitled to vote

Preserves entity continuity through domestication—all property, debts, obligations, rights, and privileges transfer to the domesticated entity without interruption or dissolution

Requires filing articles of domestication with the Secretary of State, which become effective upon filing or up to 90 days later as specified
