Interim committees, task forces, working groups, commissions, councils, and other legislative branch entities may only request legislation if at least a majority of their members are legislators

Removes the Montana Criminal Justice Oversight Council's authority to request legislation to enact changes to the state's criminal justice system

The Criminal Justice Oversight Council has 18 members, with only 4 being legislators (2 from the House, 2 from the Senate), making it ineligible to request legislation under the new restriction

New provision to be codified in Title 5, chapter 4, part 1 of Montana Code Annotated
