Deer and elk license holders must report hunting activity to the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks for each animal during the license year, including harvest success, hunting district locations, and dates hunted

Hunters who complete reporting by February 15 may receive one bonus point for either deer or elk drawings

Hunters who fail to report by the end of the license year face an administrative fee of $5 to $50, which must be paid before purchasing the next year's base hunting license

Electronic tag validation does not satisfy the reporting requirement; the department must develop a separate collection system and provide physical forms if applicable
