Expands mandatory health insurance coverage for hearing loss diagnosis and treatment from children (18 and under) to all covered persons regardless of age

Requires coverage for medically necessary hearing devices, hearing aids, and amplification devices with accessories, limited to one per ear every 3 years or as required by a licensed audiologist

Applies to group and individual health insurance markets, state employee plans, Montana university system plans, and political subdivision employee plans

Prohibits special deductibles, coinsurance, or copayments for hearing loss coverage that are not generally applicable to other medical care under the plan

Excludes disability income, hospital indemnity, medicare supplement, accident-only, vision, dental, specific disease, and long-term care policies from the coverage requirement
