Sentences imposed upon revocation of a suspended or deferred sentence must run consecutively to any other previously existing sentence, unless the original suspended or deferred sentence ran concurrently to that existing sentence

Amends Section 46-18-203 (revocation of suspended or deferred sentences) and Section 46-18-401 (consecutive sentences) of the Montana Code Annotated

Creates a default rule requiring consecutive sentencing upon revocation, removing judicial discretion to order concurrent sentences in most revocation cases

Applies to offenders whose suspended or deferred sentence is subject to revocation regardless of the date of conviction or original sentence terms
