Expands Montana's prohibition on non-compete clauses to cover all licensed physicians, not just psychiatrists and addiction medicine physicians as under current law

Prohibits employment, partnership, or professional contracts from restricting physicians' right to practice in any geographic area after termination, treat current patients, or solicit patients from former employers

Protections also apply to psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, addiction counselors, marriage and family therapists, and behavioral health peer support specialists

Exempts contracts related to the sale/purchase of a practice and payback provisions for loans, relocation costs, signing bonuses, and education/tuition repayment that decrease over time

Effective January 1, 2026, applying to contracts made or renewed on or after that date
