Counties that fail to comply with mandatory child abuse or neglect reporting requirements under Section 41-3-210(3) will have their state entitlement share payment reduced by 2%

County attorneys must report to the Attorney General by January 1 and June 1 each year on child sexual abuse and exploitation cases, including case identifiers, dates received, charges filed, prosecution decisions, and convictions

If a county attorney misses a reporting deadline, the Attorney General must notify the county attorney and county commissioners within 10 days; the county has 30 days to comply before facing consequences

The Attorney General must report noncompliant counties to the Department of Revenue by August 15 each year, identifying any county that failed to comply with reporting requirements by July 1

The Attorney General must also report annually to the Law and Justice Interim Committee with aggregated case data, including total cases reported, cases declined for prosecution, cases charged, and any enforcement actions taken
