Expands the definition of "conviction" for DUI sentencing purposes to include pending or subsequent DUI offenses if they result in conviction prior to sentencing on the current offense

Allows pending DUI charges (not just prior convictions) to trigger enhanced penalties under aggravated DUI provisions

Maintains the 10-year lookback period for counting prior DUI offenses, except for third or subsequent offenses where all previous convictions count regardless of time elapsed

Recognizes DUI-related convictions from other states, federal Indian reservations, and forfeited bail as countable prior offenses for sentencing enhancement

Amends MCA sections 61-8-1007 and 61-8-1011 to standardize terminology by replacing "violation" with "offense" throughout the statutes
