Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks must provide verbal and written notice to county commissioners, sheriff's offices, and tribal governments before relocating a large predator (bears, mountain lions, wolves) into their jurisdiction

Notification required when finalizing annual relocation plans, changing existing plans, within 24 hours of capturing a predator to be relocated, and within 24 hours of releasing a predator at a pre-approved bear relocation site

"Large predators" defined as bears, mountain lions, and wolves; applies only when animals are moved to a different county or tribal boundary than where captured

Secretary of State must send a copy of the act to each federally recognized tribal government in Montana
