Exempts children subject to the federal Indian Child Welfare Act or Montana Indian Child Welfare Act from the restriction on international placements

Amends Sections 41-3-101 (Declaration of Policy) and 41-3-450 (Placement Preferences) of the Montana Code Annotated

Maintains existing placement preference hierarchy prioritizing extended family, fictive kin, and placements that preserve the child's ethnic, cultural, and religious heritage
