Study scope includes firefighting operations on state, federal, tribal, and private lands; efficient use of suppression resources; impact on private land; and how forest management and grazing policies affect wildfire frequency and firefighter safety

$50,000 appropriated from the general fund to the Legislative Services Division for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025

Act is effective immediately upon passage and approval, and terminates December 31, 2026

Act becomes void if the appropriation is not included or is vetoed by the governor
