Prohibits peace officers, state employees, and political subdivision employees from enforcing federal firearms laws, rules, executive orders, or regulations that are more restrictive than Montana state firearms laws

Applies to any federal firearms regulation enacted after November 9, 1889 (the date of Montana's statehood)

Applies retroactively to federal firearms laws, executive orders, rules, or regulations adopted on or after November 8, 1889, including new restrictive interpretations of existing laws

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval

Includes a severability clause allowing valid portions to remain in effect if any part is found invalid
