Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks must publish a biennial river-use report by October 1 of even-numbered years, tracking watercraft numbers and purposes on 16 designated river stretches from May 15 through September 15

Report must break down weekly data by watercraft type: private canoes/kayaks/paddleboards/tubes, private drift boats/rafts, commercial fishing/guiding vessels, and commercial floating/sightseeing/whitewater rafting vessels

Covered rivers include the Blackfoot, Clark Fork, Flathead system (North/Middle/South Forks), Bitterroot system, Missouri, Dearborn, Jefferson, Gallatin, Madison, Big Horn, and Yellowstone

$2,600,000 appropriated from the state park account for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025 to fund the report

Act takes effect immediately upon passage and terminates October 2, 2028
