Creates separate meal allowance schedules for night-shift and non-night-shift state employees traveling for work, requiring more than 3 continuous hours of travel status to qualify

Non-night-shift meal windows: morning (12:01 a.m.-10 a.m.), midday (10:01 a.m.-3 p.m.), and evening (3:01 p.m.-midnight)

Night-shift meal windows: evening (12:01 p.m.-10 p.m.), midnight (10:01 p.m.-3 a.m.), and early morning (3:01 a.m.-noon)

Employees may receive one meal allowance for travel within their assigned shift, or up to two allowances if travel extends beyond their shift and does not exceed 24 hours

Amends Section 2-18-502, MCA, with the Department of Administration responsible for prescribing implementation policies
