Candidates must file campaign finance reports even if they have no contributions or expenditures to report during the reporting period

Failure to comply with reporting requirements will result in the candidate's name being removed from the official ballot for that election, as provided in Section 13-37-126

Amends Section 13-37-226 of the Montana Code Annotated to clarify existing reporting obligations and strengthen enforcement mechanisms
