Separates home school requirements from nonpublic school requirements in Montana law by creating distinct subsections in Section 20-5-109, MCA

Removes the immunization record-keeping requirement for home schools while retaining it for nonpublic schools

Removes the building health and safety compliance requirement for home schools while retaining it for nonpublic schools

Home schools must still notify the county superintendent annually, maintain attendance records, provide minimum instruction hours, and follow the basic instructional program required of public schools

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
