Restricts negligent marketing lawsuits against firearms manufacturers and sellers to cases where marketing directly targeted prohibited persons, encouraged unlawful use, had a direct causal link to harm, and violated a firearms-specific statute

Prohibits use of general consumer protection laws or public nuisance laws as the basis for lawsuits against the firearms industry under the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act's predicate exception

Requires dismissal of non-compliant negligent marketing claims and awards attorney fees and costs to defendants who successfully defend against such claims

Creates a private right of action allowing manufacturers and sellers to sue for damages and injunctive relief when improper negligent marketing claims are filed against them

Authorizes the Montana Attorney General to enforce the act's provisions
