Appropriates $600,000 from the state general fund as a one-time-only appropriation for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025

Awards a grant through competitive process to one entity to develop and operate a 2-year training project for mental health professionals

Requires the grantee to submit quarterly reports on the number of mental health professionals trained and the cost per trainee

Department must report annually to the Economic Affairs Interim Committee by July 1 until project completion; effective date is July 1, 2025
