Establishes the "Montana Data Center Development Act" to encourage data center investment by ensuring regulatory predictability for large electricity customers

Prohibits the Public Service Commission from preventing regulated public utilities from serving new large customers (those with average monthly demand of 5,000 kilowatts or more) that came into existence after October 1, 2007

Preserves the Commission's authority to establish tariffs and regulatory processes for public utilities, while clarifying its role does not extend to blocking service to large customers

Appropriates $25,000 to the Department of Commerce to market Montana as a data center location, and $25,000 to the State Energy Office to assist data center developers in acquiring electrical generation resources (effective July 1, 2025)

Amends Section 69-8-201, MCA to update customer electricity supply service requirements, maintaining existing protections for ratepayers while enabling utilities to serve new large-scale energy consumers
