Creates a new Technology Interim Committee to oversee the Department of Administration's division responsible for implementing the Montana Information Technology Act (2-17-532)

Committee responsibilities include reviewing long-range IT appropriations, monitoring technology project implementation, reviewing technology-related legislation for consistent application, and tracking best practices for existing and emerging technologies

Removes the Division of State Information Technology Services from the State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee's jurisdiction

Appropriates $327,590 from the general fund for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025: $84,300 for committee member compensation/expenses and $243,290 to hire a research analyst for staff support

Requires the information technology project budget summary to be presented to both the legislative fiscal analyst and the new Technology Interim Committee
