Expands eligible uses of the Behavioral Health System for Future Generations Fund to include student loan repayment programs for nurses, licensed practical nurses, and psychiatrists at state health facilities (prioritizing Montana State Hospital employees) and funding for additional licensed beds at the Montana State Hospital on a one-time basis

Requires the Department of Public Health and Human Services to submit monthly reports starting July 1, 2025 on Montana State Hospital hiring efforts, including applications received, qualified applicants, interviews conducted, and new employees hired

Creates an HB 872 Long-Term Sustainability Committee to analyze and propose sustainable funding mechanisms for behavioral health objectives, consisting of legislators, DPHHS officials, and budget staff, meeting every 2 months starting June 1, 2025

Mandates quarterly reporting on patient-centered health outcomes and total costs for comprehensive school and community treatment services to children

Effective July 1, 2025 and terminates June 30, 2027
