Urges U.S. Congress to fully fund public safety and law enforcement agencies, programs, services, and activities within Montana's Indian reservations

Calls on the U.S. Department of Justice to develop a cooperative plan with the Department of the Interior for administering Indian Country public safety programs and to conduct government-to-government consultation with tribes

Funding areas identified include tribal law enforcement, courts, detention facilities, indigent counsel, victim services, juvenile justice, rehabilitation and reentry programs, and crime prevention

Invites Montana's federally recognized tribal governments to adopt their own supporting resolutions and submit them to the Secretary of State by June 30, 2025

Requests Governor Gianforte to write a letter of support to Congress by June 30, 2025, with all materials to be forwarded as a single package to congressional leadership and the Montana delegation
