Requires collaboration with 11 stakeholders including the Montana Safe Schools Center, Office of Public Instruction, Department of Justice, Board of Public Education, and Department of Public Health and Human Services

Directs the study to examine Montana's implementation of the Ten Essential Actions to Improve School Safety recommended by the federal Office of Community Oriented Policing Services in 2020

Calls for review of existing Montana statutes and funding mechanisms related to school safety to identify opportunities for clarification, coordination, and consolidation

Addresses Montana's lack of a unified, statewide approach to school safety by examining how to establish cross-agency coordination and a clearinghouse for model policies, training, and technical assistance
