Montana House of Representatives urges the state's Congressional delegation to advocate to the President for protecting Montanans' personally identifiable information from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)

DOGE, created by executive order rather than Congressional act, has gained access to federal digital infrastructure containing names, addresses, social security numbers, and other personal data of millions of Americans including thousands of Montanans

Resolution cites concerns about uncertainties regarding the type of access DOGE has obtained, how acquired information will be used, and whether any oversight exists

Requests Montana's Congressional delegation act immediately to secure all federal databases containing personally identifiable information of Montanans

Directs the Secretary of State to send copies of the resolution to each member of Montana's Congressional delegation and the President of the United States
