Creates the offense of unlawful squatting as a misdemeanor when a person knowingly enters and resides on another's premises without consent, with mandatory restitution equal to fair market rent for the duration of occupancy

Establishes fraudulent sale or lease of property as a separate offense when someone lists property for sale or rent without legal title or authority, punishable by a minimum $1,000 fine and/or at least 6 months in county jail

Authorizes law enforcement to immediately remove squatters from premises without requiring a court eviction process

Adds forgery charges for presenting false documents claiming authorization to occupy property, and criminal mischief charges for squatters who intentionally damage the property

Requires property owners who provide false information to law enforcement when requesting removal of an occupant to indemnify the law enforcement agency for any resulting damages
