Prohibits state and federal funds from being used after June 30, 2025 to purchase opioid antagonists (overdose reversal drugs like naloxone) from companies that settled with states over their role in manufacturing, selling, or distributing prescription opioids

Existing state contracts for opioid antagonists executed before July 1, 2025 may continue until fulfilled, but cannot be renewed after June 30, 2025

Entities that agreed to provide Montana with opioid antagonists as part of settlements entered before September 1, 2024 must continue providing them until settlement terms are fulfilled

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
