Expands eligibility for the local court judge position on the 18-member Montana Criminal Justice Oversight Council from only municipal court judges to include city court judges and justices of the peace, all selected by the Chief Justice of the Montana Supreme Court

Directs the Code Commissioner to renumber and recodify Section 53-1-216 from Title 53 (Public Health and Human Services) to Title 5, chapter 5, part 2 (Legislative Branch), and update all internal references accordingly

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
