Amends Section 76-2-205, MCA to create a separate, streamlined process for amending existing zoning regulations distinct from the process for establishing new zoning districts

Reduces the notice posting requirement for zoning regulation amendments to 15 days before the public hearing, compared to 45 days required for establishing new zoning districts

Requires notice of proposed zoning amendments to include a general description of changes, hearing time and place, and availability of documents at the county clerk and recorder's office

Maintains the requirement for newspaper publication once a week for 2 weeks for both new zoning districts and amendments

Allows county commissioners to adopt a resolution amending zoning regulations after the public hearing, eliminating the 30-day written comment period required for new zoning districts
