Mandates 6 new staff positions for the Office of Child and Family Ombudsman: two intake and outreach specialists, two associate ombudsmen, and two research and data analysts

Requires the ombudsman to provide timely responses to individuals filing requests for assistance and keep them informed of findings and department actions

Adds duty to make active efforts to assist individuals in resolving issues identified during investigations

Requires forwarding reports of alleged violations of Department of Public Health and Human Services policies and procedures by child protection specialists to the department

Repeals Section 41-3-1213, MCA, which established privilege protections for the ombudsman office
