Extends the Task Force on Dependency and Neglect Court System termination date from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2027, with final reporting deadline moved from September 15, 2024 to September 15, 2026

Increases task force membership from 12 to 15 members, adding one additional House member, one additional Senate member, and one representative from the Department of Corrections

Replaces the governor's office representative with a certified child protection specialist and adds new study topics including issues related to incarcerated or justice-involved parents

Shifts study focus from examining whether to create a separate dependency and neglect court system to examining what court system enhancements or supports would best serve children and families

Effective date of May 1, 2025, with appointments to be made by July 1, 2025
