Residents may purchase up to four Class A-9 antlerless elk B tag licenses per license year, with the department authorized to create variable license structures based on elk management goals

Nonresident antlerless elk B tag (Class B-12) fee set at $270, with holders of nonresident big game combination licenses allowed to purchase up to two tags while other eligible nonresidents may purchase only one

Removes the previous statutory limit allowing a person to take no more than three elk per license year with only one being antlered

Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission determines which hunting districts are eligible for antlerless elk tags and sets terms and conditions for their use

Effective date is March 1, 2026
