State Director of Indian Affairs must collaborate with the legislative services division and state-tribal relations committee to provide all legislators with information and training on Indian law, federal Indian policy history, and tribal members' legal rights

Required training resources include regularly updated tribal relations handbooks, notifications about governor's office training sessions, and links to Indian Education for All resources from the Office of Public Instruction

Legislators must be notified of and invited to participate in annual training sessions provided by the governor's office and tribal governments for state agency managers on tribal legal status and issues

Deadline for the governor's annual report to tribal governments on state-tribal activities is extended from September 15 to October 15

Secretary of State must send a copy of the act to each federally recognized tribal government in Montana; effective July 1, 2025
