Creates the Montana Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force administered by the Department of Administration, consisting of 21 members including the attorney general, state auditor, 6 legislators, and appointed experts in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial technology

Members must be appointed within 30 days of the effective date, with terms running until December 31, 2026; legislative members receive compensation and travel expenses while other members serve without pay

Task force must develop policy recommendations on promoting blockchain and digital innovation adoption, creating nonfinancial incentives for related industries, fostering partnerships with financial institutions, and regulating these technologies in Montana

Required to report findings and recommendations to the Economic Affairs Interim Committee and Legislative Council by July 1, 2026

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval, with the task force terminating on December 31, 2026
