Transfers authority to appoint and direct the court administrator from the full Supreme Court to the Chief Justice alone

Court administrator now serves at the pleasure of the Chief Justice rather than the entire court

Court administrator responsibilities remain unchanged, including preparing judicial budgets, collecting court statistics, administering state funding for district courts, and managing the pretrial program

Effective immediately upon passage and applies retroactively to court administrators appointed before the effective date

Amends MCA sections 3-1-130, 3-1-701, and 3-1-702
