Appropriates $6 million from the general fund for the 2025-2027 biennium to reimburse costs of enforcing felony criminal jurisdiction on the Flathead Indian Reservation under Public Law 280

Requires Lake County to rescind its January 2023 resolution withdrawing from Public Law 280 to receive an initial $250,000 distribution by July 31, 2025, with an equal $250,000 going to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes

Prohibits Lake County from exercising its right to withdraw from Public Law 280 criminal jurisdiction until June 1, 2027, or June 30, 2028 if related legislation is extended

Conditions remaining funds on a cost-sharing agreement between Montana, Lake County, and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes for implementing Public Law 280

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval
