Requests the Legislative Council to assign an interim study of statewide emergency medical services (EMS) planning, coordination, and funding to ensure equitable EMS availability across Montana

Study must assess current EMS capabilities relative to present and anticipated demands over the next 5 years, and identify areas lacking adequate services

Requires review of current EMS funding mechanisms and coordination with each county and the Department of Public Health and Human Services to determine additional resources needed

Study must consider the implications of recognizing EMS as a statewide essential service

All study work must be completed by September 15, 2026, with final results reported to the 70th Legislature
