Joint resolution exercising the Legislature's constitutional authority under Article VII, section 2 to disapprove rules of practice and procedure adopted by the Montana Supreme Court

Disapproves nine specific rule revisions covering: Montana Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Appellate Procedure, Uniform District Court Rules, Caseload Filing Standards, Electronic Filing Rules, Public Access to Trial Court Records, Continuing Legal Education, Lawyer Disciplinary Enforcement, and Judicial Standards Commission Rules

Rules targeted were adopted between October 2021 and August 2024, with some still in proposed form awaiting public comment

Urges the Montana Supreme Court to provide explanatory testimony about these rules to the 69th Legislature

Directs the Secretary of State to send copies to the Montana Supreme Court, State Bar of Montana, Judicial Standards Commission, and Montana Judges Association
