Requests the Legislative Council to assign an interim or statutory committee to study Montana's property tax system, with findings to be reported to the 70th Legislature

Study would provide an overview of Montana's 18 property tax classes, including the tax rates and valuation methods used for each class

Study would consider options for consolidating tax classes, equalizing appraisals, and balancing tax liabilities between classes

All study work, including presentations and review requirements, must be concluded by September 15, 2026
