Extends the expiration date for the Commissioner of Insurance's discretionary authority to waive minimum policyholders position requirements for mortgage guaranty insurers from July 1, 2011 to July 1, 2015.

Maintains the requirement that any waiver granted must be for a specified period not exceeding two years and subject to conditions deemed necessary for the insurer to restore its minimum policyholders position.

Updates G.S. 58-10-125(l) and Section 2 of S.L. 2009-254 to reflect the new sunset date of July 1, 2015.

Becomes effective upon ratification on June 21, 2010.
