Increases the Davie County Board of Education from six members to seven members, effective July 2012.

Changes board member terms of office from six years to four years.

In the 2012 election, three members shall be elected with the highest vote-getter receiving a six-year term and the other two receiving four-year terms to stagger the transition.

Beginning in 2014, establishes a rotation schedule where two members are elected in 2014, four members in 2016 and every four years thereafter, and three members in 2018 and every four years thereafter.

Does not affect the terms of board members elected or appointed in 2006, 2008, or 2010.
