Honors the life and memory of Robert J. "Bob" Hensley, Jr., a former North Carolina House of Representatives member who served six terms representing central Wake County between 1991 and 2002.

Recognizes Hensley's service as Chair of Judiciary and State Personnel Committees, Vice-Chair of Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee, and his contributions to multiple other legislative committees.

Acknowledges Hensley's 30-year career as an attorney and his community service including work with Habitat for Humanity, Yates Mill Associates, Rex Home Health Care, and White Plains Children's Center.

Notes Hensley's death on August 18, 2009, at age 62, and extends sympathy to his surviving wife Patricia, three sons, three sisters, and one brother.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Hensley's family.
